anybody recommend a good restaurant for Christmas Day? Doesn't have to be Portuguese as long as the food is good.

thanks

Hi Zookro, received your message and will answer you tomorrow ... there are lots of options for you ... xx

Sorry Niloca and welcome to the forum. I can't answer for Lagos but hopefully someone will come along who can 'tell you where to go ...' ... in the nicest possible way of course. xx

I think one of the best restaurants in Lagos is Fernando's. It is a family run restaurant and the food is absolutely delicious.

Not sure of door number, but not far from the market at Rua da Porta de Portugal. 282 760210

Try it. You can't go wrong.

Hi NJM48. That message was three years ago and I no longer have it. Sadly many restaurants have closed in recent years. Personally, my husband and I always go to a Chinese on Christmas Day for duck!

There are quite a few restaurants open over the break. The Portuguese tend to have their celebrations on Christmas Eve and the Brit and Irish bars and restaurants on Christmas day.
I would try trip advisor as there will be answers there.
