I have an Apple I-pad and used BPI App to do all my banking. No problem.
For some reason, BPI have cancelled this app (though I believe it may be available on smart phone
which I don´t have). They say I can use BPI Net. However when I try to access it, it refuses
my "username" and "password".

o.k. Surely I just say I´ve forgotten them and start again with new ones? Well, I cannot see any
way to do it and have even tried on the laptop. It either asks if I want to open an account (no as I already have one!) and then reverts to Pt.

I went into Tomar BPI last week but the counter didn´t even KNOW the app was discontinued (I
have an email to prove it) and suggested it was my internet! When she finally believed me I was
told the lady to help me had gone to a cafe (this was 10 am) and would be "2 mins". After
waiting 15 mins I walked out.
Has anybody else had this problem and if so how did you solve it? I know they have to have
safeguards but it annoys me that it is MY money and I cannot have access to it despite everyone
telling you these days to go "paperless".

I suppose I will eventually have to try the bank again, but I am seriously thinking of changing
banks as there is never more than 1 person on the counter, even if 15 people are waiting!!
Sorry about the rant!!!

As I haven´t had a reply I assume I am the only person with this problem.
However, an update in case anyone else DOES experience this in future.
I went into the bank again yesterday and spoke to the manager. Even she didn´t know the
app had been withdrawn! However, she was helpful and gave me a new username and p/word
and then showed me how to change them to what I want when I got home.

Glad to say it worked o.k. but she did say I either needed to visit the branch or ring them and
they would have had to send a new name/password in the post.
