It's not that far!

I've known idiots to do it in 14 hours non-stop. (Santander - Lagos).

My record was been #Lagos to Burgos in 11 hours.

You can do the run in 2 easy segments via Salamanca & Seville.

Why not just send your car separately? Various of the removals/freight companies in the Algarve can do this, such as Direct Transport (https://directtransport.net/).

Hi, you could try Grimaldi Lines freighter cruises, you can get your car on board the ship and stay on board in a cabin. They sometimes stop at Setubal. But it is slow and expensive. 11 years ago it cost £2000 and 11 days for me and a car from Southampton to Limassol! IMHO you would be better off all round with the Brittany Ferries route to Santander/Bilbao.
