Hi Simon - sorry to bother you.

Has something changed? The first line now says "X Camone wrote :" instead of "[quote="X Camone"]" and there's a > symbol at the beginning of each line. These are retained when previewing the response though I haven't tried actually posting one yet in case it'll be similarly wrong-looking and unclear as to the quoted bit.

Thanks.

I note that BBCode (& Smilies) are OFF in the options on the left - is that something to do with it?

Yes, that would be it. Some of the emoticons were causing issues.

I'm sure the quoting was still working long after the smilies ran off.

No massive deal but it does make separating questions or comments and replies to specific points harder to post and to read. Much less attractive.

Thanks for looking, though. I guess we'll just have to live with it.

Hi X,
Just to try this:
I copied and pasted your comment

"I'm sure the quoting was still working long after the smilies ran off."

But I still had to use quotation marks after pasting, so that isn´t the answer either. And of
course it didn´t say it was your comment. Oh well, it was just a thought!

And yes, the quotes did use to work after the smilies, and I agree it is more difficult to read
with those < signs!
