I am investigating replacing aluminium shutters and installing A/C Heat Units.
Can anyone recommend manufacturers/suppliers near Alvor/Portimao

Hi Habald

If you can get split air con units like those on the market in the UK it's easy to fit them yourself. I did and it worked fine, Leyroy Merlin had some at good prices last time i was in. It is really easy just connect all the parts together and switch on.
