As I understand it, fish are a no-no in eco pools, as they eat the daphnia that form a vital part of the water purification process, but I guess that if you have a spring-fed pond (lucky you!), you will be getting a turnover of clean water anyway. I guess it would depend on the flow rate through the pond. Do you have any algae problems at the moment? Need to keep the nutrient levels low, so the plants out-compete the algae. Hopefully someone else out there will have a spring-fed pond that they are using for swimming......

Hi, yes, the pool is all finished and working well.We are very pleased with the result and using it regularly, though the recent cold nights have hit the water temperature a little - only 24c today.
