Although I already have a property I'm trying to find out if the rules have changed or there are new fees). It's for buying a piece of adjoining land/ruin.

The property is a small mill ruin with about a 100m2 land. Price is 2370-2500 euros (in debate, just saying in case there are thresholds for some fees at 2500).

I was assuming costs would be my legal fee plus about 10% (250ish euros) but I'm being told nearer 1000 euros plus my legal fees in addition.

From memory there's IMT, notario and registration fees. I've read there are now fixed notario fees of 153 euros now. I'd expect IMT to be up to 6%.

Can anyone give me a fixed cost breakdown of what to expect (except for my solicitor's fees).

Rural property near Lousa if that's important.

For my charges on a approx 30k property i paid

- IMT - 387.50
- IS - 230
- Notario - 150
