As a result of the worst experience we have ever endured in 30 years we asked for the Livro de Reclamacoes in a cafe in Porto. We completed it and have our copy of the form. We have heard nothing since. I have looked on the Porto CM site and can't find how to follow this up. Anybody got any ideas? Thank you.

Hi

I have used the complaints book a number of times over the last 8 years. Meo being the company i have had numerous problems with however i must say Meo quickly fixed the problem. I have not had any feedback after filling the book in once in the Meo shop and twice online.

After you filled the complaints book in it may take days before the complaint is forwarded to the department it has to be sent to.

Hi PeterFC - the complaint dates back to April. Pt friends told me that I needed to wait a couple of months. To be honest I had forgotten about it until something triggered in my mind the other day. Whilst there is an online form to chase complaints against utility companies I can't find anything re cafes/restaurants or a dept at the local CM. Cheers

Overall responsibility for the system lies with ASAE not the Camâras.

In certain cases, responsibility may be devolved to Turismo do Portugal or other agencies.

Thank you.

I have emailed a request for help to the 'consumidor' email address with a scan of the original complaint.

I now know that in the front of the Livro de reclamacoes there is the address of the responsible agency for the service (cafe in this case) but it was my first time using it and I did not know. I hope this information proves helpful to someone else.

Lets see what happens.
